Yom Kippur Yizkor

September 28, 2020

Yom Kippur includes the solemn prayer of YIZKOR, invoking the memories of our loved ones who have passed away.  Mothers, fathers, spouses, brothers, sisters, children whom we lost and whose memories we cherish, will be linked in our prayers with our pledge to Tzedakah.

This year due to COVID-19 our Shul has been badly crippled due to lack of funds. We all know the power of Tzedakah and the blessing it brings to us, our families as well as our departed loved ones. At this precarious time we all need every blessing we can get. I can’t think of a more important time to contribute to our Jewish Center and restore its financial vibrancy. We all miss our Shul terribly and look forward to returning as soon as possible. We ask the members of our congregation when praying the Yizkor this year, ask your departed loved ones to pray on your behalf for health and protection.  Praying for our safety will be a great act of kindness to us.

We can all return that kindness to our departed loved ones by giving Tzedakah in their memory to our Mokom Tfilah our place of prayer, our beloved Flatbush Park Jewish Center.

Please contribute generously to ensure the continuation of our Jewish Center.

We thank you in advance for your kind Mitzvah.

Sincerely,

Norman Shafer                   Teddy Weiss, Esq.
